Overview
Clinical Care Path is a practitioner-to-patient platform that enables healthcare providers to create recommendations, manage orders, and support patient adherence. The existing global discount system did not allow practitioners to personalize pricing at the patient level, creating a gap in flexibility and limiting adoption compared to competitors.
Without a dedicated product team, I partnered directly with marketing, sales, executive stakeholders, and engineers to define requirements, align priorities, and shape the solution.
I introduced a flexible, patient-specific pricing and supported the feature rollout by creating internal user guides that documented the new discount workflows, helping cross-functional teams understand feature behavior and confidently support practitioners.
Discovery & Design
Since the initial feature request came from Sales, I wanted to validate that it solved a real practitioner need rather than an internal assumption.
After usability testing, users confirmed a significant limitation in the current discount model.
Single universal discount applied to all patients

Looking beyond the immediate request, I explored how the feature could scale over time. Through competitive analysis and workflow mapping, I designed a flexible discount framework that could support multiple discount types: such as individual patient discounts, auto-ship incentives, and new customer promotions.
Rather than creating separate systems, the experience stacked active discounts and clearly communicated which discounts were applied, creating a foundation for future growth. While the original recommendation supported layered discount logic, technical constraints led the team to implement a simplified approach where individual discounts override universal discounts.
