(01)
Project overview.
Designed a centralized events experience for a student wellness platform to improve event discoverability, increase campus participation, and support engagement tracking for both students and administrators.
(02)
Challenge.
Students had no centralized way to discover, organize, or track campus events, making participation feel fragmented and limiting overall engagement. Many users also lacked visibility into attendance expectations and event-related penalties for missed participation.
Existing App Design
(03)
Design.
Before beginning the design process, I conducted student surveys to understand how users were discovering, tracking, and engaging with events in the app.
Using those insights, I explored ways to make event management more intuitive by introducing both calendar and list views, clearer RSVP visibility, and improved transparency around attendance expectations and penalties.
I also designed attendance tracking tools for administrators and social engagement features that encouraged member participation in campus events.

(04)
Results.
Due to startup development constraints, the feature has not yet been implemented, so live usage metrics are currently unavailable. However, usability testing with interactive prototypes and existing users revealed strong positive feedback around the calendar view, roll call functionality, attendance tracking, and event detail experience.
